Norwich isn’t known for its Hip-hop talent. Yet MC and producer COLL has been making his way up the ladder with his own brand of Storytelling Hip-hop infused with catchy melodies on self produced instrumentals.

Influenced by Common, KRS one, Kelis & Timbaland. COLL released his debut LP ‘TRU Life’ in 2014 on all major digital outlets. The LP was Supported by BBC Introducing, Future Radio, Mustard TV and Outline magazine. Visuals for The Godfather-esc ‘Call it Life’ & the heart felt delivery on single ‘High Hopes’ raised COLL’s profile locally. This led to live shows supporting acts ‘Lethal Bizzle’, ‘Jungle brothers’ & a spot for COLL at the ‘BBC Radio 1’s’ Academy in Norwich.

2016 started with numerous freestyles released every Friday for 20 weeks on his Youtube channel to follow up the melodic single ‘What They Call Me’. COLL went on to perform live for iluvlive London in Hoxton with a full band & Epic Studios.

The first single taken from COLL’s next EP release ‘Take it slow’ was released on December 19th 2017. The song received support from Link up tv, complex and BBC norfolk introducing. His second single ‘In My lifetime’ was released on February 11th 2018. This track was named track of the week by UK blog ‘People of paper’
